Since 2001, the days of June 1st and 2nd transform the ancient village of Radicofani into a lively crossroads of rediscovery of ancient traditions. These two days are entirely dedicated to the reconstruction of the main working, culinary, artisanal, and livelihood practices, offering an immersive experience into the past of this fascinating village, indissolubly linked to the figure of Ghino di Tacco.

The streets and squares come to life with artisans at work, exhibitions of vintage agricultural tools, open cellars, and performances of harvesting and threshing with historical machinery. The festival begins on the evening of June 1st with a sumptuous dinner based on traditional dishes followed by dances and balls. On June 2nd, the day starts with a parade of agricultural machinery followed by the reenactment of the master rope maker's trades. In the afternoon, the square hosts the traditional "quadrille" followed by threshing with vintage machines and the creation of thatched roofs.

Throughout the day, the village is animated by wandering groups and theatrical performances. Moments such as milking and cheese production, laundry processing with ash, and workshops of artisans such as the knife sharpener, blacksmith, carpenter, shoemaker, and much more are recreated. The Company of Archers Hunters Prima offers an overview of ancient leatherworking techniques and bow construction.

The true goal of the festival is to involve visitors in the rediscovery of their historical roots, allowing them to immerse themselves completely in the past, while the community of Radicofani renews its bond with its deep traditions. During the event, gastronomic stands offer menus of peasant tradition, completing the multisensory experience of this fascinating festival.
