The Giudeata of Chianciano Terme, conceived by Don Carlo Sensani with Antonello Betti and Luciano Pucello, is an exciting reenactment of the Passion of Christ involving over 150 participants in historical costumes. The procession, initiated from the evocative Church of the Compagnia in the Historic Center, showcases breathtaking scenography with groups such as the Roman Soldiers, the Sorrowful Madonna, and Pontius Pilate, creating a captivating and engaging atmosphere.

Led by the renowned city band "Bonaventura Somma", the procession pauses in public gardens for moments of contemplation and prayer, adding a touch of sacredness to the evening. This ancient tradition, revived in 1985 after decades of hiatus, continues to represent a pillar of faith and culture in Chianciano Terme, uniting the community in an emotionally charged tribute to Christian history and spirituality.

The Giudeata, with its magnificent portrayal of the Passion of Christ, remains an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike, testifying to the strength and beauty of the religious and cultural tradition that permeates the streets and hearts of Chianciano Terme every Good Friday.
