Suite Piccolomini and Suite Saracini are located on the third floor of Palazzo Lenzi-De Metz, a 13th-century building overlooking Piazza del Campo. The building remained in the ownership of a single family until 1979 when it was divided between two heirs; one of them being the father of the current owner. The family still owns many apartments in the same building, and the owner of the two suites, Cristina, still resides in the palace.
Thanks to its perfectly central location, from these apartments, you can reach all the major tourist attractions within minutes on foot, and then return to relax while watching the Torre del Mangia playing with the clouds or simply unwind with the newly soundproofed windows... depending on which apartment you rent. Both apartments are equipped with an elevator nestled in the thick medieval walls, free high-speed WIFI access, independent heating, and air conditioning in every room.
Suite Piccolomini
From its three windows, you can see the Palio on July 2nd and August 16th, as well as the preparations and trials in the preceding days.
The living room, flooded with light from the two windows, welcomes you with its bright colors, drawing your attention to the magnificent external view. Here, a new king-size sofa bed with a memory foam mattress can accommodate two people. An additional single bed can be opened upon request. The kitchenette features a new induction hob, a refrigerator, and a sink, and can be closed off with a sliding door made of local artistic glass from an old city glass shop.
The dining area, with a beautiful round table, allows you to enjoy meals while overlooking the Palazzo Pubblico, the Torre del Mangia, and Piazza del Campo right in front of you. The bedroom has a king-size bed with a new high-tech mattress for comfortable sleep. The fully renovated ensuite bathroom has a shower cabin and a separate WC with a bidet.
Unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning in all rooms, a Lavazza coffee machine, and a hot water kettle, along with a large flat-screen TV, complete the Suite Piccolomini. USB ports near the bed and sofa bed are available for guests.
The entrance to the building is located on Siena's main street (Via di Città) at number 15, and all three windows overlook Piazza del Campo, facing south towards the Palazzo Pubblico.
Guests will be welcomed with complimentary coffee pods, various tea selections, and small snacks.
Suite Saracini
A newly renovated modern apartment on the top floor of one of the oldest buildings surrounding Piazza del Campo. This amazing apartment offers the best and most affordable way to experience the true heart of the city. It is located on the same floor but on the opposite side of the Piccolomini apartment, yet at half the cost. Suite Saracini opens directly onto Via di Città. Third floor with elevator.
A very spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a newly renovated bathroom with a shower cabin, a living room with a king-size sofa bed that can accommodate two adults. USB ports on each side of the king-size bed.
High-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning in all rooms, Lavazza coffee machine and toaster, fully equipped kitchen complete the amenities.
