A few steps from the village of San Casciano dei Bagni, the white road that climbs through the oak forest leads you to Villa Vetrichina. An ancient farmhouse, dating back to 1789, used for working wood, raising sheep, and cultivating land, abandoned over time, has been restored maintaining all its original characteristics, using local materials and handcrafted furnishings. Today Villa Vetrichina welcomes you, conveying all its energy derived from this unspoiled environment, as well as the love and passion of Patrizia and Francesco.

The small restaurant of Villa Vetrichina is an exclusive environment for guests in the villa and their friends. It offers a cuisine made with the best ingredients that Tuscany has to offer, according to the season. The products used come directly from carefully selected Tuscan producers. Vegetables and fruits are not always available in the garden of Villa Vetrichina, they are bought from local farmers and markets where freshness and flavor are guaranteed.
Here you will not find visually elaborate dishes or, to be precise, from starred chefs, but the memory of pici all’aglione, tagliatelle alla disperata, ribollita, the tenderness of the fillets, and other strictly traditional Tuscan dishes with some Roman influences and perhaps Ligurian pesto, will be a culinary experience to remember and maybe to repeat with friends.

The Grand Camino suite within Villa Vetrichina, on the first floor, allows private use of the large infinity pool and offers a wonderful Tuscan retreat immersed in the gardens. The interior of the suite is inspired by the refuge of the Irish count from the 1800s who stayed in this area during his vacations.

The living area is designed with rustic refinement typical of old Tuscan country houses, with the typical wooden ceilings with exposed beams.
